HI. I'M LISA AND I LIKE HUMANS.

Hi! Thank for visiting me in cyberspace!

I'm a scatterbrained artist who is grateful to be able to create artsy things every
day with humans from all over the world. I often pinch myself as I find myself 
standing in the most beautiful locations, learning about so many new things and
ways of life, meeting such interesting people. My team consists of myself, my
studio manager, Sara (who keeps me sane and less scattered), and a whole
bunch of other artsy people who tag along with me to help me with weddings
(the husband included). 

When you look at photos that we create together, I want you not just to
remember what you felt in those moments, but I want those feelings to come
rushing back and transport you back to that space. For me, photography is
about feeling - whatever that feeling may be. I've been asked to photograph
some very intense and emotional things and what an honor to be trusted with
such delicate and important matters. I've been asked to document moments
filled with such joy and laughter and love - all the highs and lows of the human experience.

 Because photography is a very personal experience in my world (I will get freakishly close to you sometimes and probably ask you to make out or smoosh together with your loved ones as tightly as possible), I feel like you should know a little about me. I have a background in education and art. I am inspired by many things, often all at once, so you may find me a little scattered during our session but this is just my creative spirit working in overdrive.  I am a dog lover, a bird nerd, and will never say no to fancy cheese. I am based in the beautiful Napa Valley and spend my non-working days (which don't actually exist as a small business owner) with my husband Nick, my crazy-awesome step-kiddos, and my fur babies . Anything else you want to know - just ask. I'm an open book. 

I love having the opportunity to meet so many people in all walks of life. It's such an honor to document these moments, truly.
